Where is your office?
My office is in Princeton, NJ. I work both in-person and virtually. I am also licensed in Massachusetts and see people virtually.
What are your hours?
My hours vary. I will do my best to get you into the schedule. I generally work 8 am – 5 pm and one evening a week.
How long are your sessions?
Sessions are typically 45 minutes.
How do I set up an appointment?
You can email or call me to set up an initial consultation, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you give less than a 24-hour notice, I will charge you $80.00 for a missed session.
What is a free initial consultation?
An initial consultation allows us to speak for 15-20 minutes and discuss your needs. During this time, we address any questions and decide whether I would be a good fit. Most consultations are on the phone, but I have met people virtually. Let me know what you are most comfortable doing.
What age range do you work with?
I work with people from 13 – 70.
Who do you work with?
I work with teens, young adults, and adults. I provide parent support as well.
Why do people come to you?
They come to me to receive help with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and more. I also help people with chronic illnesses or medically complex issues.
Will you say “Hi” if I see you in public?
Therapy is confidential. If you smile and say, “Hello,” then I will say, “Hello.” It’s perfectly fine to ignore me, too.
How much experience do you have, and how would you work with me?
I have over 20 years of experience. We will tailor your treatment to your needs. If applicable, we will use different modalities, such as Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic exercises and other practical strategies that might better meet your needs.
Do you talk a lot about yourself?
I don’t usually share much because therapy is about you. However, if there’s something pertinent or helpful I may do so.
Do you like pets, and can I bring them to the session?
I love pets. We can talk about your pet in the office, and I would love to see a picture, but I cannot allow pets in an office setting. However, you can undoubtedly bring your pet if we work virtually.
Do you have a pet?
Yes! His name is Dash, and he is a Cavachon.
