Chronic Pain is holding you back.
Perhaps you received a diagnosis with a rare disease, autoimmune disease, a gastrointestinal disorder, or a combination of disorders.
You could have bad skin, itchiness, or allergies, some of which are hard to pinpoint. Some other conditions may include IBS- irritable bowel syndrome, EDS- Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, (CFS)Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, FND (Functional Neurological Disorder), and TMS (tension myoneural
syndrome).
Understanding the root causes of pain can be puzzling. Medical treatment is provided by your doctor and my job is to help you with the emotions that are exacerbating your condition significantly. Psychodynamic therapy and/or EMDR therapy can help.
The pain you feel is intense and debilitating.
There are days that you can check the tasks off your list, but there are days that you cannot be productive.
You have days that you can enjoy a pleasurable activity like going to the movies, taking a short walk, or grabbing a cup of coffee with a friend.
Then, there are days when the pain is just too much. Whether it’s your head, neck, back, knees, legs, or your entire body, you have to cancel your plans.
The days in which you are not in pain… you experience some relief but tend to feel anxious that the pain will come.
