Deciding to seek therapy can seem challenging.
It’s understandable to feel nervous the first time you meet a therapist, especially if you have never been in therapy or have had some bad experiences.
You might wonder, “Can I bear my innermost feelings and concerns with a total stranger? What will they think when they know who I am inside the person I pretend to be?”
My main goal is to be on your side and help you address what is keeping you from moving forward.
If you think you need objective professional help to sort out what’s keeping you from the life you want and deserve, schedule a consultation.
You wish you could relax.
You ask yourself, “Why did I just say that?” It’s hard to stop thinking about how you messed up a conversation, task, or an assignment.
People say, “You’re too sensitive” when you share how you feel.
Your family and culture are important to you but there is tension.
You think about your past in negative ways and it’s hard to focus on the present moment.
It’s hard to feel relaxed in your body. At times you feel restless and at other times you feel stiff and numb.
Feeling balanced is tough.
Relationships are a struggle.
Constant irritability and reactivity are putting a strain on your relationships at home and work.
Unspoken resentments are taking hold, creating a distance between yourself and those you care about.
Despite trying to do what your family wants, it doesn’t feel you are enough.
Something has to change.
Nothing you’ve tried has helped.
A part of you wants to share your feelings, connect, and make peace with yourself.
But it’s so hard to find the right words. And even if you could, who would understand?
I will – please reach out now!
